I wrote a review on 6/15/2021 but wanted to give an update. Back in 2017, a neurologist did an MRI and told me I would have trouble with my neck due to a car accident back in 1986. I was already having some issues with my neck so it was no surprise.
What WAS a surprise was Gavez (comfrey/plantain salve). I started using it on my neck on a regular basis and my neck actually improved. It is now 2024 and I continue to use this salve. As an herbalist, I was taught that comfrey has the ability to heal tendons, ligaments, and even hairline fractures in bones. Well, now I know this is true from personal experience. I no longer have to use the salve every day but if I notice any kind of strain or crackling sounds, I'm right back on it until they subside. It eases muscle aches very quickly. I'm nearly 70 and still lift sometimes half my weight. I work in my garden and still look at the stars at night without issue. I couldn't do that in 2017.
As my previous review indicated, I also have an old Achilles heel injury that the Gavez salve has helped. I no longer limp in the mornings until I get it stretched out. This salve may be just what you are looking for. It certainly was for me. Thank you OrganHerb!!!

I have just ordered my second jar of Zara. I am a big fan of stinging nettle because of all the nutrients in it, both vitamins and minerals. I make a long infusion of the herb and drink it daily. It is loaded with vitamins and minerals. I use the Zara stinging nettle salve on my face and arms topically for the same benefits. It is a salve that a little bit goes a long way. It might feel a little greasy when applied but it soaks in quickly. It really moisturizes my skin and I can feel the difference. It also helps soften wrinkles for us older gals. I'm also noticing a softening of the crepey upper arm areas.
Being organic, this is a much better option than store bought face moisturizers with chemicals that are not good for the skin. I really love this salve and don't want to be without it.

I used it to promote healing of a muscle in my foot. After soaking for 30 minutes, I rubbed the comfrey on. Be sure to use a clean sock or something because it is greasy. Within a week of using this, the muscle was healed!
I use this for old scars, burns, and internal injuries.

I have been using the Comfrey salve for a tendon tear, which has caused pain and discomfort. I believe the use of the salve, physical therapy, and rest has helped tremendously.

I initially bought this for my few varicose veins but when it said it relieved sore tired legs and thrombosis, I bought for my mother in law.. My mother in law has sore tired legs and edema and constant pain, and varicose veins. She has heart problems but also blood clots in legs. So her legs are constantly in pain and swollen so much that she can't walk. I sent this to her and she said it's a miracle product. Said her leg size decreased and not swollen and feels so relieved it has a nice sensation. She massages it at night and she gets relief. Not irritated. After few weeks she called and said her legs look even different size than before. Wonderful!
